About Organisation

WLMW is a voluntary self-help group, which was set up in February 1996 to assist, help, advise and provide information and guidance to the Members of the Moroccan Community, living within the boundaries of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Widadia is managed by elected people to the Committee board every four years, at the annual general meeting.

The main objectives of Widadia are to:

  • Organise supplementary classes for children aged between 5 and 16.
  • Organise outings for children, elderly and under-privileged members of the Moroccan community.
  • Organise social gatherings throughout the year, and particularly in special occasions.
  • Set up with other Moroccan groups a yearly gala night.
