Generation is an independent non-profit founded in 2014 by McKinsey & Company to help bridge this gap—at speed and scale. Many employers struggle to find entry-level staff with the right technical skills and personal attributes needed to perform in the role. Generation sources, trains, and energises new recruits who can create value for your business from their first day on the job. We are focused on helping people who have faced barriers to employment. We help you to find work through free intensive bootcamps which teach you the technical skills and soft skills you need to thrive in your dream role. You will join 20-25 peers in an online classroom, led by an instructor with professional experience in your area of study. We will teach you the technical skills you need for the role through instructor-led lessons, practical workshops, team projects and self working. 1-1 mentorship support on course 1-1 career coaching on course and 6 months after you graduate 1-1 live practice interview sessions Access to a community of hundreds of Generation alumni who can help you transition into employment
