Dalgarno Supplementary School

The Dalgarno Supplementary School was established by local community members on December 16, 2002, and was registered in England and Wales as a charity in February 2003. The registration number is 1096275.

The charity aims to advance the education of children and young adults, aged 6-16, living in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea by providing educational and recreational activities. Teaching Arabic, English, Maths and Science to raise the standard of underachievers in the area; occasional trips to local museums and places of interest.

The purpose of our sports programme is to raise health awareness amongst children and young people. We emphasise the importance of healthy living and keeping fit from an early age by engaging in sports, especially football. The regular training and football coaching we offer during the year has a very positive impact on the children and young people both in changing the player’s behaviour on and off the pitch

DSS works towards achieving its mission of building up the capacity of the local people, with more focus on those who are from the socially excluded communities of ethnic minorities, so that they can fully engage and get access to mainstream provision.
