What
Inspire’s one-week Virtual Work Experience programme gives you tangible experience of the working world during these unprecedented times. It gives you the opportunity to develop key employability skills for your future while adapting to the virtual world of work. Through this experience you will have the chance to become a youth consultant to some major industries – a chance to impress professionals and get your voice heard. Through this programme you will: - Develop your understanding of the skills and qualities employers look for - Explore possible career options - Understand employer expectations in the workplace - Increase your self-understanding, maturity, independence and self-confidence - Improve key employability skills such as communication What will I be doing? You'll be taking part in a series of activities over five days to complete your work project. With help from volunteers and Inspire you will create a professional presentation that you will share with industry professionals. How long does it last? It takes place over 5 days. The activities will require 2-3 hours work a day. What do I need? A laptop, computer or phone with access to Zoom to take part in the activities and complete your project. All activities and instructions will be sent to the email address you provide to us - So all you really need to bring are your ideas! Times are TBC.
