What

This project delivers a Ukrainian Supplementary School programme with a focus on Art and Music enrichment activities for displaced Ukrainian children living in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The programme supports children who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and disruption due to the war in Ukraine and who are now adapting to life in the UK. Weekly sessions provide Ukrainian language, cultural education, and structured creative activities that support emotional wellbeing, resilience, and social integration.

Activities are delivered by qualified Ukrainian teachers in a safe, nurturing environment. Children work in small rotating groups and also have opportunities to participate in a choir, community performances, and creative masterclasses. The project strengthens confidence, communication skills, and a sense of belonging while supporting a positive transition into mainstream education and community life.
