What
Our dedicated Numeracy support programme provides catch-up support to students in year 5 and 6, who are working below their expected level in Maths and may face multiple barriers to fulfil their potential. Support is provided on a weekly hour-long basis with a member of staff or a trained volunteer in blocks of 10 sessions for each young person, which take place either within schools or at our centre.
Staff tailor their support to the specific needs of each student, focusing on areas they find challenging as well as allowing for innovation within sessions, with staff utilising games and online resources to ensure sessions are as engaging and motivating as possible.
