What

The Nucleo Project teaches ensemble-based music to young people (aged 0-20) for free, regardless of ability or background. Even if they’ve never played a single note before joining us, children who sign up to our orchestra soon see how learning music can change lives, build friendships, and open possibilities up for them all over the world. Learning music in a youth orchestra is a brilliant way to strengthen a child’s creativity, leadership skills, perseverance and confidence. They’ll also build an inspiring new network of peers, contacts and mentors along the way. ● From Age 0: our weekly baby and parent/carer classes help children develop musicality from birth ● From Age 3: children begin basic instrument lessons and weekly musicianship classes ● From Age 4: the programme becomes more intensive, with engaging rehearsals and lessons throughout the week Our music programmes are well subscribed, but we welcome as many students as we can.
