What

🌱 Healthy Minds: A Brighter Future for Young People in Kensington & Chelsea 🌱

Changing the conversation on mental health- one young person at a time.

Over the next two years, the Healthy Minds project will support 350 young people aged 14–19 across Kensington & Chelsea to build stronger mental health, reduce stigma, and access the help they need.

This isn’t just about awareness. It’s about action. It's about equipping young people to take control of their mental wellbeing- together, openly, and without judgement.

💬 12 x Wellbeing Workshops

Real talk. Real support. Real tools.

Delivered by trained Mental Health Workers, these 2-hour sessions will bring together 25 young people at a time to explore important topics like:

  • Coping with anxiety and stress

  • Body image and food disorders

  • Self-esteem and sociocultural pressures

Through group discussions, interactive exercises, and guided mindfulness or yoga activities, young people will gain both knowledge and practical skills to help them manage everyday challenges.

Workshops will also provide direct links to further support services, with at least 40 young people receiving one-to-one referrals over the course of the project.

🌲 2 x Mental Health Retreats

Step away. Switch off. Reconnect.

For those who need a deeper level of support, Healthy Minds will offer 2 weekend retreats- an escape from city life and the digital noise.

Each retreat will bring together 13 young people, guided by experienced youth workers, to enjoy team-building activities like paintball, zip-lining and rafting- all designed to build trust, resilience and connection.

These getaways will also offer space for honest conversations and personalised support, including pathways into formal mental health services.

Whether it’s through a single workshop or a weekend retreat, Healthy Minds is here to create a safe, welcoming space where young people can feel seen, heard and empowered.

✨ Because every young mind deserves to thrive. ✨
