What

Westminster City Council’s Adult and Child Free Swimming scheme lets one adult swim for free with each qualifying Westminster resident child during school holidays at any of the Westminster leisure centre pools. To benefit, adults must ensure the child is a Westminster resident and both must have an ActiveWestminster card — which is free to apply for — and pre-book their swim session.

This offer provides a cost-free chance for parents and carers to stay active, enjoy quality time with their children and use local leisure facilities together throughout the school holiday periods.

Sessions typically run Monday to Friday, 10am - 4 pm, with times varying by pool.

Rules and conditions apply

- One free adult per qualifying child.
- Free swim session times vary by leisure centre. Please check websites for details.
- Children under 8 must be supervised in the water by an adult (18+), with a maximum ratio of two children to one adult.
- Both participants must register for the ActiveWestminster card in advance and children and young people must provide proof of Westminster residency.
- All swim sessions must be pre-booked. Wristbands to be collected at reception.
