PLEASE NOTE: This project is part of the Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme, for young people in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals*

Brainspark Games has been successfully delivering Holiday Activity & Food (HAF) programme for Children & Young People (CYP), in RBKC since Dec 2022, the camps have attracted strong attendance during winter & spring camps, across the RBKC and Westminster.
Brainspark’s provision focuses on child-led play, offering a wide range of activities, ensuring children’s needs are met throughout the day. Fostering a ‘love of learning through play’ we adopt a holistic approach to a child’s wellbeing through 6 key themes across diverse sessions;

• Sports & Wellbeing; fencing, archery, basketball, outdoor games, tennis & racquet sports, ball games, climbing, skateboarding, adventure play in park & climbing, yoga & mindfulness, giant Connect 4, Snakes & Ladders, Draughts.
• Healthy Food & Nutrition; favourite ‘fruit dressing up & snap’ game, fruit & veg snacks winning stars for healthy eating tracked on a 'Spark chart'!, healthy hot meals and exploring ingredients with artistic portion size plates!
• STEM, Education & Games; Science experiments, reading & literacy, Climate, History, Maths & English educational mobile games, connecting virtual with real life play and physical action, Monopoly (teaching budgeting & money management skills), Chess, Draughts, Connect 4 amongst others.

• Nature & Climate Action; gardening, bug pets, nature exploration, seed planting, climate game & action ‘Build a Bug Hotel’ by recycling local materials and junk, community garden & design a blackboard
• Arts, Crafts & Model Making; origami, candle making, soap making, wax seal crafts, puppetry, Lego & wood model building, clay crafting, digital arts using ProCreate on iPads supplied, sticker books, drawing & painting.
• Enrichment & Day Trips: Winter Wonderland, Bumper cars, Ice skating, Skateboarding, Bekonscot Model Village, Design Museum, Holland Park and Garrick Theatre ‘Horrible Histories’ & ‘The Gruffalo’s Child’, Polka Theatre and much more.
