About Organisation

Young Healthwatch is an opportunity for young people in Westminster and RBKC to share their views on health and care services locally.

Our current focus is mental health and wellbeing. Over the last year, YHW has been hearing from young people about how they feel about mental health support and how well they have been coping during the pandemic.

We believe that for support and services to work well for young people, their views and experiences need to be heard. They also need information about how and where they can find support.

We use the evidence we gather to challenge decision makers on how they design and deliver mental health support for young people, so that it fits the needs of young people locally. We also use this evidence to identify any gaps in current support and work to plug these gaps. We do this by working closely with the NHS, other youth groups, the local authority and more to run workshops and produce resources.

If you are aged 14-25 and live in Westminster, RBKC or the surrounding boroughs you can apply to be a volunteer now via our website.
