About Organisation

Leap Confronting Conflict is a charity with over 30 years’ experience delivering programmes to transform the way conflict is managed by young people and the adults who support them. By developing creative and adaptable approaches, we support young people to deal with immediate issues, whilst also addressing some of the longer term, systematic patterns of behaviour that lead to violent and destructive expressions of conflict. Skilled and trusted adults are essential to supporting young people to manage conflict better. We work with adult professionals in charities and community groups, with prison and police officers, foster parents, care workers and social workers as well as parents and carers. As adults understand their own relationship to conflict they are more confident in managing challenging behaviour and better equipped to build trusting relationships with young people.
